MONICA DILORENZO, MD, is a board-certified general and obstetric anesthesiologist in clinical practice outside of NYC. She started her company after years of taking care of women in labor and hearing how many wanted more information about epidurals and other pain control options than what she could quickly provide when meeting them on the labor floor, often already in pain. Monica was inspired to start a business that complements a birthing class, but offers more in-depth and evidence-based information about epidurals and all pain control options (including and supporting non-medicated births!) during labor and cesarean sections, in a calm, supportive, and empowering environment.

 Anes Baby’s live online workshops are new and groundbreaking, focusing on mom and her pain control and birth plan. The signature workshop, Empower The Push, is a comprehensive explanation of labor pain, from anatomy to medications and epidurals, continuing to frequently encountered myths and misunderstandings, and closing with useful questions to ask your obstetrician/midwife/anesthesiologist prior to your delivery. The Sectional (coming soon!) covers everything you need to know about anesthesia for a planned cesarean delivery. The information provided in our workshops will empower women with the knowledge they need to have a great birth experience and arrive to deliver feeling calm and confident that they know what lies ahead and have a plan in line with their values and goals.
