I believe that you don’t become a different person when you become pregnant, begin labor, enter your birthing space, or bring your baby home for the first time. As your doula, I take the time to learn who you are and what will help you and your family to feel comfortable, informed, prepared, and ready to engage with your birth, both in advance and through the ever-changing moments of the birth process.

I am passionate, flexible, and comforting, but also grounded, no-nonsense, and strongly evidence-based. My clients come from all walks of life, but I am especially drawn to support people who can fall through the cracks of the medical system or feel unheard through the process of standardized birth, such as younger and older parents, single parents, LGBTQIA+ parents, people in non-traditional careers, families in transition, and parents of size. I also specialize in supporting alternative parents who want a professional with whom they can share their family dynamics openly, such as polyamorous families and people in power-dynamic relationships. I bring a full-spectrum background that sees all of of the aspects our reproductive lives as connected, and additional training as a certified lactation consultant and Hypnobabies doula. My fascination with the placenta, the only organ that the human body creates for a temporary purpose, leads me to offer placenta encapsulation, photography and art.

*Serving Westchester and Putnam Counties in person, all of NY virtually*

I am a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) who has been working with babies since 2008. After learning firsthand how isolating and confusing the world of breastfeeding can be, I made it my mission to help the families in my community reach their goals and feed their babies.  Breastfeeding is natural but that doesn't mean it is always easy or intuitive.  Let me be a part of your village!  There is no "one size fits all" approach or care plan in my practice, everything is individualized to YOUR specific goals and needs.

What can I help with?
Difficulty Latching
Gassiness/Reflux
Clicking
Colic
Poor Weight Gain
Food Intolerances
Oral Ties
Nipple Pain
Clogged Ducts/Mastitis
Pumping Issues
Back to Work Concerns
Bottle Feeding
Weaning
Introducing Solids
Instilling Confidence
and so much more!

I have additional specialized training in Tethered Oral Tissues (ties) and thrive helping families in the area navigate through that overwhelming process and help their babies achieve full oral function! I offer consults in the comfort of your own home as well as virtually and will hopefully be setting up monthly infant care and prenatal breastfeeding classes in Northern Westchester in 2024.

I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Certified Postpartum Doula (DONA) practicing in Westchester and Fairfield Counties since 2017.  I was inspired to begin my work in maternal health shortly after the birth of my first child in 2014 – called to serve families as they grow and evolve, often in a world that does not make forging these paths an easy one. My job is to free up the noise in your world so you can focus on yourself, your baby, and the goals for your family as you have defined them.
In addition to my private practice work, I support the incarcerated parents/mothers, and their infants, that reside at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility in Bedford, NY.

My work is value and judgement-free, evidenced-based, anti-racist, and for all families. My pronouns are she/her/hers.

I am a mom, grandmother, birth and postpartum doula, prenatal yoga instructor and certified lactation counselor located in Northern Westchester County. My passion is supporting birthing families throughout pregnancy, childbirth and early parenthood. In addition to creating strength, flexibility and stamina, prenatal yoga can build an understanding of the relaxation and breathing techniques that can help ease the common discomforts of pregnancy, labor and birth. I understand that birth is a powerful, natural process unique to each person/birth, and that people benefit from nurturing support during pregnancy and labor. As a CLC who has nursed four babies, I have firsthand knowledge of human lactation and the nutritional needs of infants and nursing humans as well as the skills to understand and formulate potential solutions for feeding issues.
