KAREN CAMPBELL BETTEN is the founder and owner of Limitless Living, LLC where she works as a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner and Franklin Method Instructor in the New York area.
Karen has an extensive background in Western Medicine as both a Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse. She worked with a Colon and Rectal Surgical group at Columbia Presbyterian hospital managing and directly caring for the pre, intra and post operative course of treatment. She also oversaw the staff Medical Residents to assure compliance with the standard of care for her surgical group. Prior to this she was a Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit staff nurse at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. She earned her Post Graduate Masters of Science degree in Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania.
Karen was first introduced to BodyTalk in 2009 and shortly after that she experienced her first session. This was noted to be one of the most powerful experiences in her life to date. She was blown away at the release of an angst, anxiety and "weight of the world" she had become accustomed to struggling with in her daily life since entering nursing school. She had no reference or experience to understand how such a shift and release could happen without drugs or surgery. She instantly knew she had to find out more.
The BodyTalk system has been the first response modality used in her family for all illness, injury and/or conflict since her introduction to it in 2009. She is in awe to report having had no “sick visits” to a pediatrician for any of her children in the last 9 years! Yes, that also means no antibiotics or medications of any type have been needed. To date, her family meets with the pediatrician annually to fill out the paperwork for the school and he reports each year how very “lucky” they are!
Her clients results continue to put her in awe. The capacity the human body has to regain optimal functioning, health and wellness regardless of the obstacles it encounters is far greater than we have been conditioned to believe.
She is also a Certified Franklin Method Instructor teaching workshops that are a powerful adjunct to both rehab and physical therapy as well as those looking to enhance ease and longevity in the body and mind while at the same time improving strength, flexible and co-ordination. The Shoulders and Neck workshops are powerful for new moms and/or pregnant moms to release holding patterns, and improve posture and alignment to free the upper body to navigate with ease the stresses of life. The Pelvic/Hip workshops provides a powerful set of tools to regain strength, flexible, co-ordination. stability and alignment in the pelvic musculature pre, intra and post birth or really any stage of life. The Spine workshop does the same for any stage in life to enhance your capacity to move, stand and sit with ease and longevity in the spine and mind while at the same time improving strength, stability, posture, alignment and flexibility.
Her mission is to open the hearts and minds of as many people as possible to the unique capacity each individual has to create change, joy and abundance in their lives.
Sprout Wellness is a family-centered Yoga studio located in Pleasantville, NY. The studio offers Prenatal Yoga, Baby & Me Yoga, kids and adult yoga classes. The studio also hosts a Free Mom and Baby Meet Up for mothers and babies to get together in a safe and comfortable environment. Sprout Wellness also host workshops for Pregnancy, Reiki, Preparing for Baby, Postpartum Care for Mom & Baby and many more, as well as professional training for practitioners. International Cesarean Awareness Network meets last Wednesday of each month at Sprout Wellness.
Studio owner Harper Dion is a trained doula, midwifery assistant, and registered yoga teacher. Harper is pursuing a certification in Integrated Movement Therapy/Yoga therapy (IAYT) with the Samarya Centerin Seattle. Studying under Molly Lannon Kenny, she is learning to draw from a clinical based cognitive-behavioral therapy method and combine it with foundations of yoga philosophy. Through her education and experience, Harper is able to work with a wide diversity of people of all ages and circumstances.
Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga

MARIANNE LETIZIA has been teaching yoga for six years, including various Hatha styles as well as pre-and post-natal yoga. She studied pre- and post-natal yoga with Colette Crawford in Seattle, Washington, and has been teaching those classes in New York City and at Yoga Works in Irvington, NY. In prenatal yoga, the pregnant woman uses yoga postures and breathing exercises to gain strength and flexibility for the birth, improve circulation and oxygen intake for both mom and baby, and to relax the body and mind for the duration of the pregnancy.
In post-natal yoga, the new mom learns to interact with her child while doing the yoga poses, use the yoga postures and breathing exercises to strengthen abdominal and pelvic floor muscles, as well as release shoulder and neck muscles. Songs and gentle play are used throughout the class to capture the attention of the child. In October 2007, Marianne started teaching pre-natal and hatha yoga classes in Hawthorne, NY. My yoga journey began 18 years ago when I attended a prenatal class while pregnant with my first child. My practice waned considerably over the years that my three children were toddlers. When their dad passed away in 2007, I found myself juggling a corporate career while raising them on my own. Life was challenging and I struggled with depression because I did not have the tools I needed to be happy and at peace.
My practice of yoga began deepened in 2012. I discovered how incredibly effective meditation, yoga and eastern philosophy was in shifting the way I looked at the world. I felt compelled to dedicate my life to helping others. I made the leap and left my corporate career to teach full-time. I love sharing these practices through my teaching and my published work.
