MICHELLE CHIAFULIO, RN, CM, MS, has been a midwife for 10 years, practicing first at a busy hospital in NYC where she loved the diversity of the women and grew professionally from the lessons and challenges of a high-risk setting. However, she has found her home for the last 7 years at Full Circle Women's Health, a private midwifery practice partnering with Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow where she is grateful for the supportive environment for women and families.  Laboring mothers at Phelps are able to freely move without continuous monitoring, use water for labor as well as epidurals if desired, and be active participants in all decisions of their care. She feels privileged to support women and their families during the transformative period of preconception, pregnancy and early parenting, and continues to expand her gynecological practice with special interests in nutrition and gut health. In her former life, Michelle was a Peace Corps health education volunteer in Benin, West Africa and a labor/ postpartum doula in NYC.

I’ve been a certified nurse-midwife more than 18 years.  I work in a supportive New York City teaching hospital on 1st Avenue and 97th Street.  Mine is a full-scope OB/GYN practice with seven other dedicated and talented midwives.  We offer medication-free birth, large birthing rooms with shower, unlimited number of support people, and private postpartum rooms.  If the baby has no immediate health concerns, we promote skin to skin contact for an hour after the birth, as well as breastfeeding support.  If you desire medication, we have nitrous oxide as well as IV sedation and epidural anesthesia.   We support any and all of your choices.  We also offer personalized gynecological care and all forms of family planning.  Call to arrange a private tour with me or one of my colleagues.

KATHY HERRON has been a midwife since 1986. She created her private practice, Full Circle Women's Health, in 2000 -- Westchester's only midwife-owned, independent, midwifery practice with hospital admitting privileges.

Kathy is now teaching midwifery school, nurturing the next generation of midwives. She has retired from the demands (and the joys!) of caring for women during pregnancy and birth. She maintains a gynecology practice, providing gentle and empowering care to women, from a teen's first visit through the post-menopausal years.
Her special interest is helping women with sexual pain and dysfunction, collaborating with a pelvic-floor physical therapist. They take a holistic and caring approach to the diagnosis and treatment of the many conditions that can contribute to this issue.

Kathy welcomes new and existing clients for routine gynecology or sexual health appointments.
