Yoga for Birth classes help women to feel at ease in their body, calm in their mind, and at peace in their heart. Time spent in our friendly community of women offers the stretching, strengthening, and relaxation we need to balance our too-busy lives. We offer weekly drop-in classes in Fertility Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Mommy & Me Yoga, and Women’s Yoga (for women of all ages). Our popular Couples Yoga for Birth workshop (co-taught by Tanya Tringali, Certified Nurse Midwife) is offered once a month to give partners the skills and practice needed to feel confident about supporting mom during labor. Private lessons are available for individuals, couples, and small groups. Beth's study of yoga began in 1996 while completing her Masters degree in Counseling. In 2005 she received her 200-hour yoga teacher certification from the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, and has since earned certifications in Prenatal Yoga and Fertility Yoga. Beth continues to study therapeutic approaches to yoga, and offers yoga as a modality for enhancing health and vitality in a way that is accessible to all bodies in any stage of life. Her classes are lighthearted and grounding, spiritual and supportive, and offer a peaceful approach to alignment of body, mind, and spirit. |

Tami Joy Hindin, Dipl.O.M., owner of Inspire Mind Body Spirit, has taken several therapeutic modalities and has created a well balanced, personalized system to evaluate and treat patients with most health problems. She is continually working to inspire her patients to become involved in their health and wellness and to help them find balance in their life, physically and emotionally, before it presents as a health problem. She strongly believes this process can start as early as in utero. She is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Diplomate of Chinese Herbology, and received a Masters of Professional Studies in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and a Bachelors of Health Science from Mercy College. As part of her studies, she worked as a clinical intern at Sound Shore Medical Center at the Acupuncture Clinic and within special units in the hospital. Tami has also attended an advanced study program at the Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. She has continued to study the body through movement and therapeutic touch. She is a certified Pilates Mat & Machine teacher from the Kane School of Core Integration and is a certified Level 1 teacher of the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®, pulley tower combination unit. She has spent the last 6 years studying and exploring craniosacral therapy through the Upledger Institute and has completed CST I, II, SER I, II, CST and Obstetrics, The Brain Speaks, Cell Talk, The Reversal of Pathogenic Disease and CST and the Endocrine System. She has also had the great privilege to study with Dr. John Upledger himself and continues to explore how powerful our bodies are at healing themselves if given the space and time. Her practice is not limited to any health population but she is extremely passionate about treating women and their needs. She has had tremendous success treating women having difficulty getting pregnant, problems during pregnancy and postpartum and treating newborns. |
