She provides individual, dyadic and group psychotherapy to women and couples struggling around issues of parenthood. She utilizes a dynamic approach incorporating clients’ histories with current, practical suggestions. Her private practice is in White Plains, New York and Manhattan, New York. She offers group psychotherapy at the Full Circle Family Care Center in White Plains. Dr. Bartlett also provides training and in-services for professionals and agencies interested in screening for postpartum mood disorders. She is available for consultation and clinical supervision as well.
Dr. Bartlett strives to create a non-judgmental environment for examining one’s issues and challenges, while aiding her clients to become more comfortable with a wide range of emotional experiences that make life interesting and enjoyable. She brings empathy and warmth to her work, but also maintains a sense of humor.

Details: The group consists of mothers and their babies struggling with concerns associated with the arrival of their baby. The group will provide non-judgmental support, education and coping skills for mothers to navigate this challenging time, while highlighting the positive relationship between mother and baby. Women will be able to share their stories, thoughts, and feelings in a safe, confidential environment.

Suzanne Burger, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 20 years of experience in private practice. Her goal is to help individuals, families and couples in distress identify the source of their difficulty, develop clear objectives for therapy, and work to promote positive change. At her home office in Pound Ridge, she serves Northern Westchester as well as parts of Fairfield County including New Canaan, Greenwich and Stamford; Dr. Burger also maintains an office in White Plains.
She treats a broad range of problems including postpartum depression, anxiety, adjustment to life transitions, relationship and identity issues. While her style is interactive and collaborative, she also relies on strategies and interventions proven effective by scientific research. Carol Merle-Fishman is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, certified in Integrative Psychotherapy, Clinical Transactional Analysis and Music Therapy.
