Tami Joy Hindin, Dipl.O.M., owner of Inspire Mind Body Spirit, has taken several therapeutic modalities and has created a well balanced, personalized system to evaluate and treat patients with most health problems. She is continually working to inspire her patients to become involved in their health and wellness and to help them find balance in their life, physically and emotionally, before it presents as a health problem. She strongly believes this process can start as early as in utero.
She is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Diplomate of Chinese Herbology, and received a Masters of Professional Studies in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and a Bachelors of Health Science from Mercy College. As part of her studies, she worked as a clinical intern at Sound Shore Medical Center at the Acupuncture Clinic and within special units in the hospital. Tami has also attended an advanced study program at the Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China.
She has continued to study the body through movement and therapeutic touch. She is a certified Pilates Mat & Machine teacher from the Kane School of Core Integration and is a certified Level 1 teacher of the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®, pulley tower combination unit.
She has spent the last 6 years studying and exploring craniosacral therapy through the Upledger Institute and has completed CST I, II, SER I, II, CST and Obstetrics, The Brain Speaks, Cell Talk, The Reversal of Pathogenic Disease and CST and the Endocrine System. She has also had the great privilege to study with Dr. John Upledger himself and continues to explore how powerful our bodies are at healing themselves if given the space and time.
Her practice is not limited to any health population but she is extremely passionate about treating women and their needs. She has had tremendous success treating women having difficulty getting pregnant, problems during pregnancy and postpartum and treating newborns. |
